We had a great group for our February Informational Tour of the Wheeling Center for Independence, the newly renovated Avenues to Independence site which strives to provide day services in a relevant, modern and welcoming environment.

Currently serving an average of 140 clients each day, the Center allows participants to choose from a wide variety of activities including art classes, computer lab, music, exercise and more. In addition, their on-site developmental training program offers the opportunity to work and earn a paycheck.

Thank you to Community Liaison Amy Landreth for organizing and facilitating our tour and to Vocational Director Ron Reeves and Director of Admissions Joni Kraft for also showing us around.
