Transportation Advocacy

Our friends at Access Living have a new tool for transportation advocacy!

Transportation issues can be one of the biggest barriers to inclusion in the community. If you use transportation in or around Chicago/Cook County, you can now fill out an online form to report transportation access barriers to Access Living. The form is available in English at this link and also in Spanish at this link.

We know that people with disabilities experience transportation barriers regularly. For folks in Cook County, that could mean rideshare, Metra, Pace, CTA and more. In order for Access Living to do their best work on transportation, they want to hear from a wide range of people. Reports will be sent to their staff and they will monitor and/or follow up as necessary. Speak up about the transportation issues you are facing so Access Living can help advocate for us all!
